A Vision of Students Today

Students today are still learning in the way that students a hundred years ago learned. We watched a video called, "A Vision of Students Today"about college students speaking out about their views on what is happening in school and what they are doing about it. We then decided to make a video of our own. The 21st Century is full of technology and new ways to do things, classrooms need to figure these out and begin to use them to the students advantages. With our video we are hoping to get across the message that we are a new type of student. We learn in different ways and we are interested in different things. We must find a way to teach based on the students and not necessarily by the books. Learning should not be so much about memorizing and repeating facts but about thinking and interacting with each other. Its about finding new ways to improve ourselves and take things with us that will be useful for the rest of our lives.
